A company on its third owner since 2022
HostMantis started life as Plexihost in 2005 and rebranded to HostMantis in September 2010. The company is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, and for years built a loyal following on low-end hosting forums for offering cheap reseller plans on OVH servers (US, Canada, UK, France, Singapore, Australia) and Hetzner servers (Germany).
That changed in mid-2022. HostMantis announced what it called a "partnership" with a company called Dynamic Hosting, which would take over monitoring, support, and billing.
